Useless Radio ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website and mobile app at uselessradio.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

We only collect information when you choose to sign in as a member:

• Google account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
• Display name and avatar: Stored in our system and shown alongside your forum posts.
• Forum posts: Text content and any images you upload to the forum. These are visible to all users of the site.
• Member role: Whether your account has been granted member status (required to post in the forum).

Visitors who do not sign in can browse the site without providing any personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To display your name and avatar next to forum posts.
• To gate member-only features (forum posting) based on your account role.

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or analytics.

3. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

• Supabase — our backend database and authentication provider. All account data and forum posts are stored on Supabase servers. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Google OAuth — used for sign-in only. If you use Google sign-in, Google shares your name, email, and profile picture with us per Google's privacy policy.

4. Public Content

Forum posts you submit — including your display name, avatar, and post content — are visible to all visitors of the site. Please do not post personal information you would not want publicly visible.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except the service providers listed in Section 3 or as required by law.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account exists. Forum posts may remain visible after account deletion unless you request their removal. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Children's Privacy

Useless Radio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
